Our content days are thoughtfully and carefully designed to eliminate the usual stress of building extensive setups, giving you the freedom to effortlessly create fresh, inspiring content that truly stands out. Plus, you’ll discover a supportive, vibrant community and network of passionate creatives who offer genuine encouragement, share innovative ideas, and help to reinvigorate your artistic passion—all while boosting your confidence in studio photography.
Studio content days feature a total of four unique installations tailored to target a wide range of clients and models, while also providing access to at least one seamless paper station to ensure you have the flexibility to set up personalized areas as you need to. Exact installations will be announced about a week before the event, but you can explore our inspiration for this studio content day on the vision board below.

Things to Know
Each photographer will be provided with a space that is 8 ft x 8 ft within the studio to build their own set for capturing images. The location of each set will be pre-assigned and we will be will sending out a request form prior to the workshop to address any specific requests, like seamless paper, etc.
Items in the studio are available for use for your sets. To ensure availability, we will be sending out an email on Sunday, August 10th to allow for photographers to make requests for items prior to the workshop. Items will be assigned on a first requested, first serve basis and items available will be displayed in live time to ensure easy selection. Keep in mind that models will be wearing a fitted tank or tee in black or white with dark skinny jeans and leggings so please center your designs around this attire.
Please know you can bring items of your own and we will be providing three drop off dates and times prior to the workshop. One will be in the morning of the workshop for those that are coming in from out of town.
One of the goals of this workshop is to help bridge the gap in providing a better understanding of the value of a model’s hard work and skill in the industry. To ensure an equal balance, photographers attending are required to submit at least 5 images of each model to any of the workshop hosts withing 20 days to ensure distribution of images to models.
August 31st, 2025 | Photographer Meet Up - Creative Lighting
Love photography and sharing your passion with others? Open to all photographers, this photography networking meetup is designed to provide photographers with a welcoming space to network, spark creativity, trade branding/headshots, and explore innovative new techniques. Featuring a welcome hour alongside short presentations centered around artistic lighting and setups, this studio-sponsored gathering offers a unique opportunity for photographers to connect with fellow enthusiasts, ask insightful questions from fellow photographers, and gain fresh knowledge to elevate their craft.

Designed as a way to capture images to display on your portfolio for upcoming Christmas sessions, this studio content day will be divided into two blocks: one from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and another from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Yes, each creator ticket will need correspond with each timeframe and we’ve built a 90 minute break in between the two to ensure there is enough time for a full studio cleanup and reset of refreshments between the two.

June Studio Theme: Amour des Fleurs (Love of Flowers)
This studio content day will feature a total of four installations.
Cyc Wall. Two small greenery covered arches will be positioned inside the cyclorama wall.
Movable Arch. Set beside the cyc wall, the movable arch will have a wooden chair in front adorned with florals and fabric.
Umbrellas & Parasol. We’ll have one umbrella recontructed with pastel live florals and one parasol adorned with live florals in vibrant colors.
Wooden Doors. Placed at the front of the studio in front of our double wooden doors, this set will feature a gold frame, faux hydrangea garland, white chair and our tan cow hide hexagon pattern rug.
Breaktrough Seamless Paper. Featuring a seamless paper backing and torn color seamless paper front to allow your models/clients to stand in between, this set will have a large faux floral installation suspended from the ceiling.
Floral Wall. Set on our movable wall, this set will feature solo stemmed flowers attached directly to the movable wall.
This is a drop-in whenever you would like between 10 AM to 4 PM with no time restrictions.

Take your photography to the next level and gain an in-depth view of how mastering lighting can bring a new level of depth and emotion to your imagery.
From in-studio to outdoor conditions, understanding the core foundations of lighting and how its impacts your captures is just a small part of what this amazing workshop will uncover. With an expansive career spanning almost four decades, John has dedicated a large portion of his time and investment in teaching, from large instruction classes for PPA to one-on-one instruction. This workshop will focus on providing photographers with a hands-on experience targeted toward learning more about the diverse array of studio lighting setups like mount types, triggers and the use of speedlights, continuous lighting, hybrid units, and monolight flashes. From nuanced gradiants of light and various lighting patterns, discover ways to dramatically elevate your portraiture, transforming visuals from flatness to multi-layered incorporations of depth. Learn how to effectively match lighting modifiers with specific lighting sources and explore the essential concepts involved in low, mid and high key lighting.

What will the studio look like?
Fully set and ready to go, including lighting. Come in, pick up your camera, and start shooting! The studio will have three large fabric installations and, as always, this content day will introduce a new bold + colorful installation.
This studio styled session and content day utilizes over 16 pieces of frabric ranging from 20 to 40 feet in length.
Cyclorama Wall
Draped 20’ x 40’ white fabric. Placed in the center will be a mattress with pillows behind a white plush rug.
Center Area
30’ dusty blue fabric peices spanning the stretch of the center area, ceiling height with white curtains behind surrounding our fireplace adorned with blue and white hydrandras intertwined with a gold candle centerpiece.
Oversized dusty blue fabric piece with movement (this one is stunning for social shares!) will be used from 1 PM to 1:30 PM.
Arch
Arch with draped tan frabic.
Vibrant Setup (Seamless Paper Station)
Orange backdrop and orange chair with floral design setup.
Bonus Setup (Opposite of Arch)
A black and white scene designed with a stunning painting and positioned with projector lighting to create a more dramatic affect.

If you do sell sessions to clients during this time, please remember that this is a drop-in whenever you would like, with no time restrictions, and there is a strong possibility for other photographers to be in the space at any time. So, giving your clients an idea of what to expect before they arrive is always a great idea.

No, tickets are only needed for anyone who will be capturing photo or video.

The key difference is models. For creatives who may not have their own models to bring, models will be available from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Styled session cost a little more to help offset additional costs for hair and makeup and new client closet additions for the models in attendance.
*As a note, our studio is a large open space, so boudoir is restricted on studio content days. Please schedule a seperate rental for boudoir content.
Wedding Styled Session Pop Up
Community board pop up styled session. Open to photographers free of charge, this styled session will feature one couple with the bride wearing two different dresses. A ceremony site, head table, small wedding cake, and arch will be set as different backdrops. Are you a photographer who would like to participate? Simply message us to let us know you’re coming! Styled session will be from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

What are Studio Content Days?
Studio content days are similar to styled sessions and are designed to be fun ways for photographers to create unique and engaging content. All setups, lighting, decor, client closets, and backdrops are provided—the only thing you need to bring is a model.
What does the studio look like during content days?
Fully set and ready to go. Come in, pick up your camera, and start shooting! Our studio will have the following setups, and please feel free to use our client closet and props to find the perfect look. These setups are perfect for a wide range of models, including families/kids, fashion models, couples, and branding headshots.

Do you provide models?
We don’t provide models for studio content days, so please be sure to bring a friend, model, family member, or client with you unless you are solely creating videos/photos demonstrating possible setups.
Can I sell sessions to my clients for studio content days?
You are welcome to sell sessions to your clients for studio content days! Please remember that this is a drop-in whenever you would like, with no time restrictions, and there is a strong possibility for other photographers to be in the space at any time. So, giving your clients an idea of what to expect before they arrive is always a great idea.
A ticket is required for each person (photographer, friend, client, model, etc.) who will attend.
(This helps us ensure that we don’t have too many people in the space simultaneously.)
Pricing
Tickets for creatives (this is anyone who will be capturing photo/video) are $25 + tax.
Tickets for guests (clients, models, friends) are free.
Space is limited, so please be sure to grab your tickets early!
When reserving tickets below each reservation must have at least one creative ticket purchased. Need to reserve more guest tickets after you have already purchased your creative ticket? You absolutely can! Just send us an email to let us know.

How Do The Styled Session Timeframes Work?
All you need to bring is your camera and creativity! Just like a typical styled session, our amazing team of vendors will curate the looks, decor, lighting, and overall style for each of the session types listed below. Please know you can give models instructions on set if you're looking for a specific look. Within each set, info cards will be available listing participating vendors, making it easy for you to tag them on social media.
The studio is spacious enough to have sets on each side, allowing for little to no downtime between each timeframe, so feel free to take a little extra time if you need it! Setups will include:
