What does your membership include?
Membership plans include:
A 10% or 25% Discount. You’ll receive your discount code via email shortly after you signup for your initial month of membership. You can begin using this code by proceeding to the payment portion of your reservation and applying your coupon code at the payment screen. Need to book a session right away? Please know we will provide a code for use to reimburse your discount if you need to place a reservation for a rental before your code is in our system.
Leads & Discounts. As a member, you’ll receive emails from us with:
Studio Leads — As a studio, we receive requests online and have walk-ins from the general public who would like to use our space, but don’t currently have a photographer. These requests are directed to our Find a Photographer page of which all of our members are listed.
Wedding Leads — Often done by directing to our Find a Photographer page, photographers who recieve leads for dates they are unavailable for will either send them to the Find a Photographer page, via email or by posting on our community board.
Discounts — Our office team is consistently reaching out to amazing photographer software and product providers to source discounts for our members. As soon as these come in, these are sent out through our community board.
Breakroom. Available only to our members, this area features a full double apron sink, cutlery, dishes, microwave, coffee station, mini fridge and a beverage fridge fully stocked with sodas that are complimentary to our members. This area is also equipped with two workstations (most commonly used by our staff), but please know if you need to make a private phone call, this area is always there for you to use!
Flexible Mini Session Scheduling. Available to members on our creative plus ($175/month) plan, this allows for members to block off a one hour timeslot once a month at no cost to advertise mini sessions. (You’ll receive a special link to reserve these timeslots.) You only pay on the day if you use your timeslot.
Beauty Station Use. Do you have a client who would prefer to have hair and makeup done onsite? Members can use our beauty stations before rentals at no additional cost. To ensure availability, please include this request along with a start time of hair and makeup when booking your rental.
Extended Hours of Studio Access. Members can reserve rentals for our studio from 7 AM to 9 PM. To schedule outside of regular business hours, please use the appropriate scheduling link and select the ‘submit a request’ link at the bottom of the page.
Complimentary Dedicated Fiber Access. We know the struggle of long upload times and the lack of fiber in the area. Let’s face it: even with the best internet plans available in this area and shared bandwidth, it is hard to reach over 20 Mbps on uploads, especially in the evening when everyone is home. Our dedicated fiber is a private, high-speed, reliable connection that doesn’t share bandwidth with others, and there are no decreases in performance during peak usage times like you find at home. Best of all, unlike broadband, our uploads match our downloads in speed, meaning that our fiber line supports uploads at 100 Mbps with consistent performance. Our internet is also separate from broadband, so if your internet’s down where you live, it’s likely ours will still be working. If you have a lot of uploading and not a lot of time, or are having internet issues at home, our studio is the place for you! Members can stop by anytime during business hours to use our fiber internet free of charge. Grab a seat at the conference table or one of the workstations and stay as long as you need. Please note that our studio is sometimes closed for full-day sessions/events. Please stop by our work area calendar to confirm workstation access.
Printer Station Access. Need to print or scan documents? Our printer station is always available for members to use.
Studio Content Days. Membership plans include one creator ticket for our monthly studio content days. To use your free ticket simply respond to the announcement on the opportunities board or send us a private message to let us know.
Educational Workshops & Styled Sessions. Members are the first to know and receive early ticket access to educational workshops and events.
Photo Printing/Mailing Services. Cut out the hassle. Have prints or wall art you need to order for clients or packages you need to mail out? Our printing partnerships and mailing station make it easy to order, package and mail prints with ease. Have a custom frame? We also provide clear acrylic and have a points gun onsite to make assembling custom frames a breeze.
QT Album & Millers Samples. Do you sell QT Albums or Millers products to your clients? Our studio is equipped with fabric swatches and samples to make it easier to sell your products to clients.
Studio Rules & Things to Know.
Studio Use. When renting, you will be selecting a specific use for the space. If you are renting for use for a photo/video/content creation session, other uses, such as for a catered event, are not permitted. Please get in touch with us if you are looking for a specific use that is unavailable through our booking links.
Occupancy Limits. We allow a maximum of 10 people per rental and 45 people per workshop. Please contact us if you expect to exceed these numbers.
Studio Representative. A front desk receptionist will always be present during your rental to help move large pieces of furniture and answer any questions you may have. Please note, our receptionist is not a photography assistant, so please know they will not participate in helping with lighting/holding objects, etc. during your rental once your model/client arrives.
Alcohol is Not Permitted. Under North Carolina law, an approved alcohol permit is required for any establishment that serves alcohol. Under no circumstances is alcohol permitted on the premises.
Boudoir Sessions. We do allow for tasteful boudoir but not full nudity. Our studio is an open studio that provides visibility from the roadway into our studio so please be sure to let us know in advance if you are scheduling a boudoir session so we can ensure privacy curtains have been put in place. (We do offer a pipe and drap system that can span the full length of the studio.)
Certificate of Insurance. As both boudoir and newborn sessions hold more liability, we do require a COI to be on file with Von Creative LLC listed as an additional insured for boudoir and newborn sessions take place in our studio. This COI must be sent to our admin team no later than two days prior to your rental.
Cleaning Fee. You are responsible for returning the studio to the state where it was found. If clean-up is needed by a member of our staff, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged and must be paid before any additional rental sessions will be permitted.
Dogs and Cats. We love dogs and cats! Pets are permitted in our studio, but to ensure the safety of all those on site, we require any pets to have an active rabies vaccination. We do not permit any dogs that have been deemed dangerous or that have a history of biting that has caused injury to other pets or humans.
Nails & Thumbtacks. We have stands and other ways of hanging fixtures for your image backgrounds, so please contact us ahead of time or let us know on the day, if you need assistance.
Violence is Never Tolerated. We will not tolerate violence of any kind, and we reserve the right to remove participating actors from our premises. Please report any negative behavior to our on-site representative as soon as it occurs.
Smoke Bombs, Open Flames, Fire Crackers. Under no circumstances are activities permitted that have the potential for creating a dangerous atmosphere or may lead to the potential risk of fire. Open flames, firecrackers, smoke bombs, etc. are not permitted in our studio or any substance/aerosol that omits an unpleasant odor or hazardous fumes.
Booking. Availability is displayed online in real-time for all of our plans, allowing for quick and easy booking/rescheduling, even late at night. We allow bookings up to three months in advance, and sessions can be canceled 48 hours before your booking.
Rescheduling/Cancellation.
Rental Fees Paid. Rental fees paid will not be refunded, regardless of circumstance.
Rescheduling. We allow for rescheduling up to 48 hours in advance. Attempted reschedules within 48 hours of your booking will be considered canceled.
Cancelling. With exception of our members, bookings canceled without 48 hours advance notice the session rental fee will be forfeited. For members on active membership plans, sessions can be rescheduled at anytime. As a member, just please reach out to us via email if you need to reschedule a session within the 48 hour window.
Buffers. There is a 15-minute buffer provided between each rental timeframe. This allows you to arrive 15 minutes before your session and provides 15 minutes for you to clean up afterward. Please note that when there is another creative coming into the space, time extensions will not be provided under any circumstances.
Co-Working Space. Our goal always is to ensure both you and your clients have the best experience in our space. We are a co-working space with a receptionist and users who come in to use the back workstations. Please know that it is likely that your clients will see other people in the space but we have a strict policy against photographers displaying their logos while studio rentals are taking place. On days where we have more people in our co-working space or use of the beauty stations, dividers are put in place to create a division from the front area to help provide more privacy for rentals taking place.
Membership Plans
Canceling Your Plan. Membership plans are based monthly and can be canceled anytime via your login located on the bottom footer of our website. Your plan renews on the same date each month until you cancel within your online portal. When making your payment, you are paying for the month forward, and pro-rated refunds will not be provided for cancellations made mid-month. When canceling, you are only ending your upcoming renewal.
Rule Violations. If you violate any of our studio rules, we reserve the right to end your active subscription. In the event that we do, we will refund any remaining days pro-rated within that month’s cycle or any payments made toward future rentals, minus any damage fees incurred within 14 business days.
Ordering Prints. Do you need to order prints or wall art for your clients but don’t know where to start? With our membership and pro-plans, you can order prints directly from us to make it easier and at times less expensive for you. Most prints and wall art orders arrive and are available within as little as two days.
Extended Hours. Subscribers on our membership plans have access to an additional 5 hours of availability to book each day. To schedule outside of regular business hours, please use the appropriate scheduling link and select the ‘submit a request’ link at the bottom of the page.
Beauty Station Use. Our studio is outfitted with two beauty stations to make it easier for your clients to do hair and makeup onsite. Beauty stations can be used by members before scheduled times for no additional cost. To ensure availability, please be sure to include this request when booking your rental.
Breakroom Use. Our break room is available for use only to our members. This area is stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery, and a microwave that you are more than welcome to use. There is also a mini fridge and a beverage cooler stocked with sodas. Sodas with the beverage cooler are made available by us for our pro plan users free of charge. If you plan on leaving items in the fridge overnight, items need to be labeled with your name and the date. With the exception of the half and half we provide, please do not use anything from the fridge that is not yours. We do a weekly cleanup of our fridge each Monday and any items not labeled will be discarded.
Workstation Use. Membership users have access to our workstation area with complimentary fiber internet from 10 AM to 7 PM daily to work away from home. Reservations are not required, but we restrict access to this space during full-day rentals, workshop days, and events. These dates will be published on the calendar and can be viewed by clicking here. Please check our calendar before you arrive. As this area is available to you daily, please note that it is likely that there will be sessions taking place while you’re here.
